FAQ

What's inside the waffles?

Our waffles are made with wheat flour, Belgian pearl sugar, yeast, and a blend of plant-based fats.

To get the authentic texture and caramelisation of a traditional Liège waffle, we use a high-quality vegan butter alternative.

Are the Waffles Gluten-Free?

Not yet... but we’re working on a gluten-free version. Follow our social media pages or subscribe so you don't miss out on new products.

Are the Waffles Allergen-Friendly?

Our waffles contain wheat (gluten) and soy. While we don’t use nuts in our recipe, we do use nuts in our kitchen.

Are The Waffles Kid-Friendly?

Yes! Our waffles are a hit with little ones. They’re perfect for lunchboxes, after-school snacks, or a fun treat anytime, for all ages to enjoy.

What is a Liège Waffle

A Liège waffle is a traditional Belgian street food. It's made with a special dough (not batter) and includes Belgian pearl sugar that caramelises as it cooks.

This traditional baking method creates a waffle that’s golden, crispy, soft and chewy on the inside, and full of flavour.

Can I freeze my waffles?

Yes! Our waffles are freshly baked and suitable for home freezing.

Just pop them in the freezer on the day you receive them to make sure they're fresh when you decide to eat them.

How should I store my waffles?

No need to put them in the fridge unless you prefer to.

Our waffles are fine at room temperature thanks to the sugar which acts as a natural preservative.

How do I warm up the waffles?

From fresh or defrosted:
Pop them in the toaster for 1–2 minutes until warm and crispy. Let them cool slightly to bring out that crunchy caramel edge.

From frozen:
Use a preheated oven (200°C) for 8 minutes or pop them in an air fryer for a few minutes. Heating with a microwave is possible, but it will make the waffle soft rather than crispy.

What's the shelf life of my waffles?

You can keep your waffles at room temperature for 4–5 days. To refresh them, just pop them in the toaster.

Frozen waffles keep well for up to 3 months.

Can I add toppings?

Absolutely! While they’re amazing on their own, you can enjoy them with fruit, chocolate spread, ice cream, or your favourite toppings (preferably plant-based). Let your imagination run wild!
